The start of the 2013 holiday season begins tomorrow with Thanksgiving. What are you thankful for?
Are you thankful for everyone who makes up your day? Or maybe a strangers kindness? Food always brings people together. Even complete strangers in a brave new world.
What about all the delicious foods; like auntie Myrtle’s double stuffed stuffing? Reminds you of Oreo’s doesn’t it? Or how about being thankful just that you can get the date right on your Thanksgiving family dinner photo? LOL
What about being Thankful for your pets? Just so you know these dogs are part of the dog mafia and will exacting revenge as appropriate. These dogs look like they are going to pee in your shoes while you sleep just to show you. Just saying. 🙂
Are you thankful for your kids? Kids make life worth living. Hug your children and tell them how thankful you are for them. They really need to hear it!
Last, but certainly not least, how thankful are you that you have an official Thanksgiving dinner? Someone had to prepare this deliciousness to be gobbled up randomly for the next 3 days. I mean you must have the initial turkey dinner; then its on to turkey sandwiches, turkey casserole etc…and the list goes on and on for leftovers. Personally, this part of Thanksgiving represents weight gain. But aren’t you thankful for the ability to gain 5-10 lbs all in the space of 1-2 days?
Happy Thanksgiving to all my fans, friends, and family. I thank God everyday for each of you and your continued support of not only the blog but for your encouragement during my healthier journey into weight loss.
I leave you with this verse from the Holy Bible:
” … give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” 1 Thessalonians 5:18
